Really nice place, loads of lovely fish. Everytime I've gone I found the staff really helpful and the fish were always in good health.

Tom was so incredibly helpful. Tested my tank water for me because I have a very small tank, with one Minnow, and didnt want to add more fish if there were too many nitrites etc. He helped me get the perfect Minnows to add to the one that I already have and I then added something new, Red Shrimp, to help clean the tank and they also add colour! I get real joy looking at my tiny tank. Thank you. I shall be going back and highly recommend.

Amazing shop on the whole with a great range of products and a wide range of beautiful freshwater and marine fish. The only reason it loses the stars for me is the terribly sad goldfish in a tiny 30L tank at the back. You would think a place so specialist with knowledgeable staff would know that putting a goldfish in such a small environment is a death sentence and a horrible life. I just think in this day and age given what is known about stunting of fish its a shame that they promote it. Also, worth noting, I visited the store a while ago and there was 2 goldfish in there, so I assume one died from poor water quality etc and they think it is still acceptable. I understand that a goldfish in a tiny tank is a good sale for them but ultimately it isnt humane and it is awful to see how brilliantly their marine fish are kept in comparison to this poor goldfish
