They have an extensive portfolio of professional trades they were introduced to me and their professional guidance is first class. I felt confident and reassured throughout the whole process to its fruition. I would recommend 100%, and I have done so on 2 occasions already.

Avoid if your job is for any older property or complex build. Initially seemed great but it turned out they were not suited for the job , unfortunately as they are extremely good sales people we were not made aware of the limitations and ended up having to instruct a second much more experienced firm which got the job done but essentially we had to pay twice. Probably fine if your build is basic but wouldnt recommend for anything listed, older or complex. We wanted to use a local firm to support the local economy and we were assured they had the credentials for the job but essentially they wasted our time and money. We felt we were due a proportion (not 100%, we acknowledged some hours were put in) of the fee refunded as would seem fair given the poor and lack of stated experience but were told the fee was appropriate, so we paid 1800 only to have to instruct a second firm. Think carefully before using and dont fall for the excellent sales pitch.

Such a wonderful experience working with Berkshire developments who provided me with inspirational designs, to transform my semidetached property with a grand wraparound ground floor side and rear extension. The main aim of this project was to create a third master bedroom downstairs with all necessary amenities for a family member with health problems. In the designs this was complimented with a very large family living space leading into an ample kitchen and utility room The care and attention in the designs schematics was exemplary. How can we use the space to benefit your family the most was a welcomed phrase. The family room benefited from a high vaulted ceiling with generous skylights to flood the space with natural light. I particularly appreciated how the design phase influenced my preconceptions and allowed the space to develop to improve orientation and flow, which would aid our family member with poor health. Providing an additional multifunction room, which could change use as my young children grow, was also a great idea Robert and the team ensured that the project kept moving through the approval process despite some setbacks caused by Wokingham Borough Council. They offer a service where they took the pain and worry out of the application and approval process through their decades of industry experience. Being introduced to prospective builders through the process also really helped me understand my budget, priorities, project time scales and occupancy through the build.
