We had a Harvey Arc water softener and drinking water filter installed today by Chris Gartell. He did a fantastic job and went above and beyond by sorting out our rather idiosyncratic network of water pipes. He checked carefully for leaks and ensured that all was sound before leaving. From my experience I find it difficult to accept the 3.7 star review total for Harvey water softeners. The installation was outstanding the guy who came to fit it, wow. He was polite, clean, left no mess. I have friends in the building trade whenever they work at my house they always live a mess. I have spent tens of thousands on solar andair source heat pump systems and all of them left damage or a mess or both. Harvey water softeners, well the guy was fantastic informative polite respected my property, respected me. Even offered to come back from a job 30 miles away to go through the ins and outs of what needed to be known to maintain the system. Allowed him to send me a video explaining what needs to know which,as I'm technically minded, did the job perfectly. I'm not sure I would have been so good to a customer in my own profession can't fault these guys. Well I say I can't fault them, I was a bit miffed that I've been lumbered with a six-month interest free payment scheme when the salesman told me "we can correct that when the time comes" and the guy on the phone in the office said he shouldn't have said that. I was kind of hoping to stretch out a bit more. But still, the difference with our water before and after is so worth the money. No more white surfaces around water areas no more scaly kettle, no more gritty tea in the morning, shower head has cleaned itself for the first time in living memory, shower screen is no longer white but clear glass, the dishwasher works every time now requires no maintenance, the chemical used in our washing machine has almost half and the results we get improved beyond recognition and the life time benefits for my heating system I can only imagine.. I'm not sure about the quality of other wars often a products but Harvey war softeners provide a fantastic service along with a product which is diminutive in size yet having had such a profound effect on our home and quality of life, that's worth every penny.
