I recently hired the Pavilion for a group meditation session. Very worryingly the Parish Clerk Jill Biden who was accompanied by the Chairwomen Erica Agombar who attended to give us access to the venue then advised us that the fire doors were going to be locked. We asked that for fire safety reasons they leave the doors unlocked, but scarily the main door which was also a fire exit was padlocked closed from the outside, barring exit in the event of an emergency. The fire Service later attended the venue and informed that the fire exit should not be locked whilst the venue is In use.

An unassuming little building on the edge of the village recreation ground that was originally used by the local football and cricket teams. Over recent years it's become a much greater focal point in village life having been refurbished and redecorated by volunteers from the Bisley Parish Council. In the summer "Teas on the Rec" are served from here on Thursday afternoons with money raised going to local good causes. It's an event that becomes ever more popular amongst locals of all ages with each passing year. Several local groups make use of the building including a local phonics class and it's available to hire for children's parties, group meetings, etc. The Parish Council hold some of their meetings here as well as in the village hall across the road. Further work on the pavilion is planned for this coming year.
