Our first time here - fabulous place, delicious food, great atmosphere. The staff were very knowledgeable about the food and beers and very attentive. They made us feel like guests rather than customers... we will be back!

V expensive. In the past we were always table served but just now we had to order at the bar. They forgot several items. 11% surcharge added automatically (frustrating giving no table service etc). Edit: you've replied to the wrong person. Our bill came to about 100 (2 kids meals, 2 adults) and my name's not Sharon.

Loved our experience at this pub. Its cosy for colder/wet days, but also has a covered courtyard with marquee & some outdoor seating overlooking a garden for sunnier/warm days. Food is good & service is excellent. Went on a Sat night at month end & made a reservation, but they also had availability for walk-ins. Will def go again. Highly recommended

A slightly disappointing experience. The menu sounded great but the food underdelivered. Sourdough bread with chicken butter was like stale supermarket sourdough. Hollandaise with asparagus was watery and underseasoned. Chips with the burger were very nice but the burger itself was strangely tasteless. The pub itself was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful but service was a bit slow even though (or perhaps because) it wasn't very busy - I found myself looking around on multiple occasions wondering when we would be served. Pricing was pretty standard for the area but slightly overpriced for the quality. Overall not terrible but I wouldn't rush back.
