Service is so slow, waiting an hour for drinks order and still waiting for food at least 90mins, now 2hrs, now 2hrs 15mins. Will not be returning to a Barons pub again.

Visited The Cricketers for a family lunch, booked a table for 7 people, didn't start well. On arrival took some time for any of the staff to even acknowledge us, we were then shown to a table that only sat 6, when we asked for another seat the man just waved his arm and walked off. It was clear we wouldn't all fit so asked another staff member if we could move. Drinks took an absolute age to arrive but the girl serving us was clearly doing her best in the circumstances and she did well considering and was polite and apologetic. We ordered our food, when it arrived we were a meal short, we had to ask for it twice before it turned up some time after everyone else's, this also happened with the after meal coffee's. We weren't the only ones people behind us also got meals much later than some of the others. Not the greatest impression when you have family visiting from overseas. The food on the other hand was really good and couldn't fault it.
