        I had to move to another part of the country because the school refused to allow my son to be accelerated. They were too worried that other parents might make a fuss and want their own children to get the correct level of education. My son is now very happily studying at a secondary school 4 years accelerated - but we are far away from my home/parents thanks to the headteacher's selfish refusal to help.
