Here's a review on a slightly different note. A few months ago I pulled aside on a narrow residential road to allow a Stantons delivery truck to pass. The driver misjudged the gap and side swiped my stationary car. The driver and his manager Paul Fitzpatrick were very amicable and apologetic and promised my car would be repaired, I felt very comforted. Imagine the sinking feeling when 3 weeks later I spoke to their insurance company who advised me that Stanton's were somehow claiming I was liable! I called Paul in confusion, where I found myself speaking to a very different, evasive Paul. Luckily at the time of the accident I had jotted down a number of a witness which I initially didnt think was necessary, who I then managed to get hold of. His statement unexpectedly matched my view and Stantons had no choice but to accept liability saving me thousands in excess and no claims (Thanks David!!). So a few things I learnt from this experience 1) Get a signed note of liability at the time of an accident no matter how nice the other driver / party is 2) Dont trust Stantons, that would be the driver, director 'Paul' or sales Steve.
