I have never had a problem with Tribe before!! I have visited many times and had another appointment booked for today. I turned up 5 minutes before my appointment but the doors weren't open. I thought maybe I was the first appointment of the day and they weren't ready to formally open. After waiting around, no one turned up or unlocked the doors. I phoned the salon number but no answer. This was really strange as I had received a reminder email yesterday. I phoned again and left a message. After going for a coffee, I decided to try one more time (this was about 35 minutes after my appointment was supposed to be). A lady was sat in one of the salon chairs drinking a tea/coffee. I tried to open the doors but they were still locked. The lady unlocked the door and I realised it was with the lady who has cut my hair before...who I had booked an appointment with today!!!! She clearly didn't remember me (which I am not blaming her for, she must cut a lot of ladies hair) but said the person who I was due to have my appointment with was sick and that she had sent a text to rebook- I had not received a text. She said she would be able to fit me in much later in the day (7 hours later) but I declined. I understand that people get sick and have days off, I understand that schedules need to be re-jigged- however the lady I was talking to was the person I had my appointment booked with, so I don't quite understand why my appointment didn't go ahead at the scheduled time. I'm not just annoyed at the fact my appointment didn't go ahead- it's more that the lady lied to my face about what has happened. Clearly someone wanted a lie in rather than go to work!!! I'm sad to say I won't be returning to Tribe for a haircut.

I visited Tribe last week for a wash blow dry and curl, was very please with the results, I received lots of compliments at the wedding, also the results lasted five days. Rachel the stylist that did my hair was very nice and pleasant, she advised on best thing to do with my hair so get the most out of it. Would definitely use again when I am in the area. Sue (Manchester) Rachel was lovely, really Services: Curly hair, Hairstyling
