I have been attending Sunny Meed surgery for nearly 70 years and I have always had excellent service. I realise that covid has had a massive effect on the NHS, but it has become a nightmare trying to get through to Sunny Meet on the phone. This morning much to my delight I managed to get through straight away, the receptionist took my details, kindly filled in the form and said the duty triage Dr would ring me in 2/3 hours. I also had confirmation on my mobile. 7 hours later I was still waiting, after numerous phone calls on my mobile, leaving the land line free, holding on for 30 mins each time, I was eventually answered. Only to be told I had been put on a waiting list to have physio. Not only was I waiting, but my son who lives in Guildford, was waiting for me to ring so he could take me up to the surgery. I am finding it difficult to walk far which is frustrating but I do feel having reached 90, I feel a little pushed to one side. This is the second time I have been left sitting waiting be called back over the last few weeks. Obviously it is a busy surgery and I except that, but I am very disappointed that no one bothered to inform me, not daring to leave the flat in case I missed a phone call that never happened. It's not good enough. Barbara Christie

Cannot fault the staff and doctors. My elderly mother has been well looked after. Email the surgery, and they always call back. Excellent service
