Honestly best gardening service ever. Was struggling time wise because 2 other gardeners hadn't turned up causing me to waste a lot of time waiting. Called these guys for a quote knowing it was super short notice and they turned up, really friendly and professional, gave me quote and did the job straight away knowing I was in a tight spot, add the fact that was literally pouring and they still did it. Highly recommend Alex and team for their professional work ethic. Prompt response, very efficient team who undertook a difficult job cutting back overgrown laurels (more like trees!). An amazing job done without any plants trampled on, with all branches removed from the garden and tidied with a leaf blower. Fabulous attention to detail and delightful to have them in. Five & highly recommended!! Worth the money! Alex and his team were incredibly professional. They were quick & worked very hard despite the weather. They transformed the gardens and the hedges and hands down were the best gardeners weve had to do a job this size! They went over and above without us having to ask or request. Thanks Alex and team! Alex showed up very nice and personable to quote. We agreed the work needed and a price for the job that was 25% more than we pay our usual gardener (from a different company) who couldn't come. Sadly within 15 minutes our outdoor coffee table had been smashed. Accidents happen, but before they had finished the work Alex came back and requested being paid in full and promised to replace the outdoor coffee table top. My wife was alone at the time and with four big men on the premises she felt pressured to pay, despite the damage and despite not having had a chance to check the work in detail / before it was even complete (a good lesson for us!). Upon review the hedge trimming was not straight / some pieces were not trimmed at all or had large tufts missed. Many weeds/beds hadn't been touched at all which was a major part of the work, and offcuts were left all over the place... this felt like a scam. The quality of the work was way off, what our usual gardener provides. We were so surprised at how bad the work and overall experience was given the other reviews for this company. We followed up several times with Alex to request an update on the replacement for our outdoor table and to let him know the issues described above (with pictures), but weren't surprised not to hear back (even though we can see he has seen the messages). We will be pursuing Alex in the small claims courts. Not an honest trader. Update: After posting this review, Alex did get in touch and while he didn't fix the issues left in the garden or follow through with the supplier to find a replacement, he did pay for the broken table top once we sourced one. Initially he was quite pushy for us to remove the review entirely, but that could have been cultural differences. Updated to 2 stars, representative of the overall experience.
