Its with sadness that I write this review. My family have been with this practice for 35 years and we have always been happy with the service. Unfortunately in February my husband became seriously ill but could not see a GP instead he was sent to Woking Community Hospital where he was later referred to A&E. The same week I was ill with a sinus infection but could not even talk to a Dr to request a prescription. This was a stressful period for our family with no support from our local GP practice. My husband has been in hospital for 2 months with endocarditis and an aortic valve replacement. He was recently discharged and a letter sent to the GP. We have heard nothing from the practice and attempts to again talk to a GP regarding continued medication etc has been a struggle. The receptionists have been less than helpful. It appears that this practice has changed beyond all recognition from the friendly, family practice it was in the past. It is unacceptable that you cant see a Doctor face to face for 3 weeks. A telephone appointment is fine (if you can get one) if you know what is wrong with you and can request what you need. But a face to face appointment is essential to get the whole picture especially in my husbands case which was life threatening. I despair for the future if this is the standard of GP service we have to accept.

My son passed out at the Dentist in the same building and banged his head and his neck was bleeding. He is a registered patient. Dentist said to go downstairs and get him checked out as I was very panicked as was horrible to witness. Not one Dr would take a quick look at him and advise me what to do. Disgusting, not only as Drs but as caring human beings. To your response, You did not help me at all. Its not the Receptionists fault.Lets hope no one drops outside your doors as you wont be able to see and help them. I would have had to wait 2 hours to see you and concern for my son was now and then. No wonder waiting times for A&E are so long and they so under pressure with the attitude of GPS.. You still have a duty of care to people, not legally but morally. My son is a child.. Thank you for being so caring and asking how my son is- NOT. Im being sarcastic. Lovely caring practice I belong to!

I missed a GP call last week as Ive been having problems with phone signal. I rang the surgery back as soon as I can and was first on the queue. But how can you possibly be first on the queue and be left hanging on for nearly 25 minutes? I had to hang up eventually. I rang again today (15th feb), again Im first on the queue. This time Ive been left waiting for over 15 minutes before someone picked up the phone. Something drastically wrong here, either with phone line or the front desk system. Very frustrating especially when a GP left a voicemail asking to return their call. Is there a way to get in contact with the GP in these instances specifically? I dont necessarily want to take an appointment from someone else in urgent need of it. But just an alternative way to contact a specific doctor, which could take less time. Even utilising a messaging system through the app or something. The practice manager should look into this as it could save time for all involved. After all that waiting, I was told that the GP is not available for a phone appointment until March. (literally unbelievable)
