I was delighted with the work Si did at my property in March/April 2021. He and his colleague decorated the interior of the entire house and dealt with any difficulties that cropped up in a resourceful way, They always took care to be as clean and tidy as possible and hoovered up every day before leaving. I was kept fully informed of timelines and who would be attending each day. The quality of the work is excellent. They finished off by doing a couple of other small odd jobs for me, Always good humoured and a pleasure to have in the house. I thoroughly recommend them. Service: Paint indoors

We were delighted with the work carried out by Simon and his team during September/October 2017. It was a major renovation with four walls being demolished to create a large, open plan kitchen/dining/family space. The boys really pulled out all the stops to meet our deadlines; they completed the work on time and within budget and, importantly, were prompt and courteous at all times. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend J & S Building Services.

In April 2014 we asked J & S Building Services to remove the entire chimney stack, from the ground to the sky, in our Victorian terrace house in West Byfleet, Surrey. This involved removing the chimney breasts both upstairs and downstairs, and not only in our house but also in our next door neighbour's house since the chimney stack was a shared one. The building work commenced on schedule, tying in perfectly with the Easter school break when we moved out for two weeks whilst the major heavy building work took place. The work went smoothly and when we moved back in the builders were able to continue around us with minimal disruption to our day-to-day living. This was one of the key aspects for us - we wanted builders that were considerate of us and our neighbours and who would work around us - J & S didn't disappoint. All the builders working on site were friendly and their workmanship was of a high standard; the structural work, roofing, plastering and tiling were all very good, and the carpentry, of which there was a lot, was nothing short of excellent. We had half of the downstairs floorboards replaced, new oak double doors fitted internally and externally, both into new door frames, and a new oak door fitted into an existing door frame - all done to an excellent standard. The work completed more or less on time and within budget; we asked for some extras which the builder fitted in at the end. We have had no problems with any of their work since and we would use them again for any building work, large or small. We have happily recommended J & S to our neighbours who are currently having an extension built by them in fact.
