The Wine Cellar - Woburn

Popped in while I was staying in Woburn, gentleman in the shop was welcoming, very helpful and knowledgeable. Good selection of wine from Europe, not a massive selection from the Americas. Bought a couple of bottles of wine from his recommendation, not that expensive, I am sure they will be good. I would recommend visiting this shop if you are in the area

Superb knowledge and advice, combined with a great selection of wines. Would also totally recommend their wine tasting evenings too.

Since the start of the 2020 pandemic and lockdowns, Stefan and team have embraced online, but in a very personal (human) way. Their memorable wine tasting evenings have gone online via Zoom, and we've joined several. The most recent (the red wine session on 23rd January) was a particular treat, accompanied, as it was, with a ready-prepared camembert with all the trimmings - through a collaboration with the Woburn Mosaic gallery and lounge bar across the street from the wine cellar. Consistent, friendly, on the nose with deliveries and (excuse the pun) a great finish!
