What a brilliant little space. What a fascinating half hour I spent chatting to the volunteer on site. Superb if you are interested in boat building or the like.

An excellent Maritime Museum, where one can still watch people building their boats downstairs. Upstairs there is an extensive collection of maritime artefacts, books and pictures ; including Pierhead paintings and the White Ensign of the R.Y. Britannia.
