Rowhedge Under-Fives Pre-school

My eldest daughter has just spent 2 years here and now my youngest daughter is about to start ready for her 2 years of pre-school before moving on for school and I'm so happy that they've been able to go to such a wonderful pre-school. The staff here are so friendly, they made me and my daughter(s) feel at ease straight away. I recommend Rowhedge Under 5's so highly. Their learning journey books are amazing and such wonderful memories of your child's time a pre-school to keep. The facilities are great, their own private garden and access to the recreation ground and local woods means the children can get out and about - which was a big bonus for me as my daughter is very much an outdoor kinda girl!!! I hardly knew anyone at pre-school or in the village of Rowhedge when my daughter first started at pre-school... now 2 years on I know so many mums and dads and have made fantastic friends. I have also got involved with the pre-school management committee which means I know a lot more about the running of pre-school and I am able to give my input and help to keep this pre-school the amazing place that it is for all the local children :)

Rowhedge under 5s is a truly wonderful preschool. My son spent a year here before going on to the very nearby primary school and my daughter has just started her year here (they could have started at a younger age which many children do but I am a clingy mummy!). My son loved his time at preschool and the lovely workers made settling in for him incredibly easy. I saw his confidence grow in such a short time and any speech problems he had were soon corrected. His transition to the primary school was also amazing as he was use to seeing the children playing at play times and they fully prepared the children with the knowledge of what would happen at 'big school' and what they would need to do (ie practising to get ready for PE). My daughter has already formed a tight bond with her key worker and also the other wonderful staff. I completely trust her in their care and know they would be the first to let us know if there were any problems or concerns. All the staff are approachable, even if (like me) you feel a question is silly they realise parents are some times more apprehensive than the children. I would strongly recommend going to see this preschool, they care so much about the children and have so many activities and toys to help children develop skills and learn.
