Richard is possibly one of the most helpful and kindest people I have had the pleasure of dealing with. He's resized my engagement ring twice, repaired it twice (maybe three times?) and even strengthened it to protect against my clumsiness.. and has just given it the most wonderful new rhodium coating. If I'm honest... I think it looks better than it did new! Let aside the jewellery, it's Richard who is the absolute gem! Thank you RTFJ

It is now just over a fortnight since my wife Diana and I were in Sussex enjoying a short break with my sister. You may recall I telephoned regarding a small Sapphire and Diamond ring, bequeathed to my wife some years ago, which unfortunately would not fit her finger of choice (despite an alteration made a few years ago). Whilst being very busy you kindly agreed to see us and establish what could be done to make the ring fit. What an amazing and enjoyable experience this was. You were friendly, kind, considerate and understanding of the sentimentality of the ring. You were successfully able to resize it to fit and with alteration finished then checked stone settings and gave it a good clean and polish. The ring looked superb and sparkled well in the sunlight ! Diana and I are so pleased with the finished alteration. The fit is good and she has worn it just about every day since, and shared the repair story with a number of friends and family, all being very impressed. The whole event was a bit of a surprise for Diana. We certainly didnt expect to arrive at your premises with a ring wrapped in a tissue and leave with Diana wearing it on her finger. So a big thank you for your kindness, consideration and of course appreciation of your skill in completing the alteration. The event will be a happy memory for years to come.

A perfect repair of my chain necklace! Richard was the first person in Sussex to offer same-day service and I couldnt have found someone more skilled - or with better customer service - anywhere. I cannot recommend RTFJ enough and will definitely undertake the 2 hour round trip for any future jewellery repairs. Thank you again Richard!

Rich & Hugo did an amazing job for repairing/altering three pieces of jewellery for me. They really go above and beyond and provide such a personable service. Theyre masters of what they do and Ive been so impressed with them Im commissioning them for a big piece later in the year. Cant recommend them highly enough, thanks again guys!
