Lister House Surgery

This practice is amazing. The building is nice and light and is always spotlessly clean and feels calm. Staff are so professional, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and caring. They always go the extra mile and you feel they genuinely care. The reception team, nurses and pharmacists are outstanding and the Drs are great at using their time effectively without making you feel rushed. The team are awesome with gaining the trust of young children.

Have only been with this surgery since I moved to the area 3 months ago and so far I have been very impressed. I have a chronic illness and find the online prescription ordering system excellent - really easy to use. Staff all seem really friendly, especially the pharmacy ladies and Matt, an Extended Scope Practitioner, who was great. They call you when they say they will, and if they dont know the answer to something they find out and ring you back. Very impressed so far. Also, a really lovely, modern, up-to-date building too.

Used to be brilliant in the days of Dr Trepess and co and was a 5 star surgery (even in the old Bollams Mead buidling). Since it was taken over its really gone down hill massively. The call and wait for a call back triage process is a nightmare, I feel sorry for people who need a timely appt / miss a call as sometimes you can wait hours just for a call back. Always see a different doc (Dont have a regular doc any longer) and the receptionists can at times be pretty rude, almost like you are an inconvenience. When you are able to see a doc / nurse though they are generally good they just need to sort the appt process (would put it to 3 stars) and give the receptionists some customer service training (would put it up to 4 stars).
