During the summer they run the 300 minehead to lynmouth route using one of their vintage buses. It costs 10 for adult return 5 for a child or 25 family return. We caught the 10am from minehead and had 4.5hrs in lynmouth. The bus was in lovely condition and was well driven by the friendly driver. We'll worth doing for a day out.

My son-in-law booked the Stockport bus to pick my daughter and the bridal party up & take us to the church and then return with a bus-load to the reception. I thought it was a weird idea but - whatever. I was wrong - its was a great way of getting 8 of us to the church together. I was on both trips and very impressed with the whole thing. The route was complicated by poor access to the venue, narrow country lanes, tight corners and a one-way system but all was calm and serene. I didnt hear one word of complaint from the driver & conductress - they simply did their job and didnt pass on any stress they may have felt to us. Admirable. If you use it for a wedding make sure people have to RSVP for it and then you need to remove that option once its full as it was very popular with the wedding guests too.

We hired a vintage double decker bus at very short notice after being let down by another company. Steve and his team could not have been more sympathetic and helpful. We had a wonderful bus that certainly turned heads, all of our guests loved it. The journey from the farm to Wells went smoothly and caused a bit of a stir as it drove down the high street. The driver and conductor were very polite, friendly and helpful and even went so far as to walk the route from our farm entrance to where we had parked the guests cars to see if they could drive the bus across 3 fields to get closer to the marquee and the house. That really made the day as the guests did not have to walk so far and the setting was far better for photographs than a dusty farm entrance. I would not have dared to ask Steve if his bus could have been taken across fields. The sight of the bus trundling across the field in front of the marquee and farmhouse was priceless and unforgettable. We all had a wonderful day and hiring the double decker from Quantock certainly helped to add to the feeling that we were trying to create for the day. I wish you all the best for the future, long may the Quantock buses continue to trundle around the roads and lanes of the south west.
