We moved into a very well worn heritage property over winter, complete with characteristic roof damage and in urgent need of repairs. There were 2 holes with tiles missing, and old, ineffective guttering which needed to be replaced. We sought several quotes and nobody else came close to being as personable and informative as Karl. Karl is an honest, easy going gentleman with an eye for detail and a sincerity about his appraisals. He provided us with a quote brochure which explained everything in very thorough detail. At our request he looked at the chimney/brickwork, guttering, and tiling, we were advised accordingly and all repairs took place on time, and has been completed beautifully. The new Kent peg tiles are reclaimed ones he sourced, which were dispersed amongst existing tiles to create a secure, seamless and very attractive roof. The eye can not locate at all where the original holes were. It looks superb and everything was completed without a hitch. He is very knowledgable and keen to help. This has been a godsend, particularly when dealing with a very old property, for which it seems rather important for any work to be carried out as respectfully as possible. I cannot recommend Karl more. He has been professional, immediately responsive, and an expert hand at his craft. Thank you sincerely and I am extremely grateful we found him. I have used Karl Terry Roofing contractors three times in the last 10 years for jobs including a full re-roof and multiple repairs and have always found their work to be of the very highest quality. Karl Terry has completed 3 roofs for my crumbly but charming property over the last 10 years. I am just about to engage on another project with him as he has made such lovely work on all three works in Peg tiles, and Welsh Slate. His knowledge, fair pricing, after care and the skill from his cheerful team have always made him a consistent choice. Nothing is too much trouble as there is constant pride in their work I heartily recommend Karl Terry for those who need good roofing and wish to feel secure under their roof for the future years.
