The highest possible recommendation for Mike Grant. We had a tricky bathroom renovation for disability access, in a tiny and awkwardly laid-out 19th-century cottage, on a very tight timeframe. One plumber had given us a five-figure estimate; another had taken one look and told us that what we wanted was impossible. Mike came in with a careful, thoughtful Lets figure this out view of the project, considered every aspect as an engineer, and took the initiative to ask us questions about customising the space (for example, the height of the basin) to increase the accessibility beyond what we had asked for. Then he worked as fast as three men, did the installation, tiling, and joinery to a beautiful degree of finish, took away every speck of debris and left the place neater than he found it! We are extremely happy with the bathroom and have already hired Mike again to sort out the ancient pipes in our kitchen, and count ourselves very lucky to have found someone local who does such good work. Superb service. Mike installed two bathrooms, including free-standing shower, ripped out and installed a complete water system and gas central heating. Major renovation job involving re-piping throughout the house. The quality of workmanship was second to none and Mike's professional approach was excellent. His commitment to the job was unfaltering and his advice was invaluable, ensuring the finished project was everything I had wanted. I can't recommend him highly enough.
