I visit this shop daily but im getting a bit annoyed at the lack of customer service and downright rudeness from cashiers, so far this week i have had to wait around 4 minutes for the cashier and the customer who had completed their transaction to finish their irritating chit chat( if she's your friend then socialise on your own time) then this evening i managed to complete my purchases without a single word spoken to me, no greeting, no "is that everything" and lastly no thanks or goodbye. The world may be quickly changing but basic customer service should still exist! If you appreciate my custom so little that i can be completely ignored then crack on but it's certainly not whats expected from a village shop and i can easily go elsewhere! So i thought it necessary to edit this so i could add that i have just popped in for some coffee and a treat for my son only to be confronted by the owner about why i left a review, he was the reason i was completely ignored as he thought it appropriate to be having a distracting conversation with his cashier whilst the cashiers attention should be on the customer, i explained that they are rude and as such responsible for the review. Apply a little customer service and things like this could be avoided, but if you ever confront me infront of my child again i will not be so polite. Ridiculous.

We wanted a particular bottle of spirits, and although not in stock, they arranged for it to be available. Great!
