Initially happy with the 2visits we made. Felt charging was hit and miss as there seemed to be no visible pricing structure. No support given when we had an emergency situation arise.

I wanted to post a recommendation. My little rescue cat Lily, was diagnosed with stomatitis a year or so ago by conventional vets. I did not resonate with the treatment they wanted to give her, so went holistic via research on the Internet. However after some months of improvement I went to Birgit for an assessment. To cut a long story short, my Lily is impossible to get to the vet, for me anyway, but lovely Valentina, the new vet, has made several visits to monitor Lily's progress and supplements, and give her acupuncture. I just wanted to say that after Valentina's visit today, our little Lily called for us and showed herself rolling around showing her tummy, something hardly ever seen. Even though I have done lots of research for Lily's health, it is so reassuring to have Valentina to look at her and examine her every so often as Lily also needs acupuncture for her emotional health and it is obvious that she is much happier. And also Valentina is wonderful in examining Lily in corners, in cupboards or other hidey holes. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you so much Valentina and Birgit. Our dear little girl is so much better after her hard start in life.

We have been seeing Birgit since our dog Gunner was diagnosed with severe spondylosis in his spine 3 years ago. The conventional prognosis was not good and Gunner was facing a shortened life on toxic painkillers. Birgit treated him holistically with acupuncture, herbs and homeopathy and the transformation was incredible. Gunner has enjoyed his veteran years with improved energy, mobility and vitality so that, at nearly 14, he still swims and enjoys a good quality of life. Birgit and Valentina have both treated him (and us!) with the utmost kindness, gentleness and understanding. Their office is friendly and welcoming, and Gunner enjoys the treats and the walk round the duck pond afterwards. Thank you Birgit, Valentina and the team!

I found Dr Birgit 2 years ago. One of my cats had a leg ulcer and after 6 months of treatment and tests at my regular vets and a lot of money they said they had run out of ideas. Fortunately I found Dr Birgit and after just two weeks his leg had healed. Now she is my first go to when my cats are poorly. I have 5 rescue cats and four of which have had treatment with Dr Birgit. Recently I had a cat that had a growth in his mouth and was not eating, within just a few hours of acupuncture he was eating for England! I can not recommend her highly enough. At first it may seem that this is not a cheap option, however from experience in the long term it works out the same as regular vets by the time you have paid for tests and medication. Also its a far less invasive way to treat my cats. I was surprised, Dr Birgit makes acupuncture look easy to do to a cat ( I am sure its not). Be prepared to have to give regular herbs and homeopathy pills over a long period of time.

Just a quick review for Dr Birgit. We took our little 7 year old Chihuahua x Yorkie( Lily) to Birgit when she was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. That was over 7 months ago and Lily is doing fine. Quality of life is excellent and shows no signs of deteriating. In fact She's as active and cheeky as ever. I think the outcome with a traditional vet would have been pretty poor and would have meant a lot of vet visits and separation not to mention some big bills. We have not been apart from Lily once and could not be more pleased with her treatment and of course the fact that she is still with us and doing so well. Thank you Birgit. You are wonderful.
