Karuna Detox Retreat

It was my first detox/retreat, so I have to admit it wasnt easy but I made it!!! I am so happy for it! I would not have done without the well thought program, the therapy sessions and the support and guidance of our hostesses (Sho, Jo and Kathy:) I was also fortunate to be part of a wonderful group, giving support to each other. I've been twice in Karuna Detox retreat and I always get what I was expecting - I leave not just physically lighter but also mentally. I always learn new things that I can use in my everyday life. But the best: I feel safe, respected, cared and loved for a full week! A dream!! I'm feeling so grateful life allows me to be part of this experience, and I'm feeling gratefull to all the team that make this magic happen. Thank you!! :)

This was my first ever detox. I researched a lot of detox retreats before I booked Karunadetox. I certainly was not disappointed. Sho and her lovely team were very professional. I had the opportunity to do yoga and meditation every day. The detox was well supported by Sho and her team. Brilliant swimming pool which I used everyday. I meet some lovely like minded people like myself there. Sho has a wealth of knowledge. I found her talks very informative. I have come away with the tools to help me to live a more healthier life style. When our detox was over, we had a fantastic feast. The brilliant chef demonstrated how to make tasty plant based meals. My experience at Karunadetox was absolutely great. I would certainly book with them again!

This is my second detox week at Karuna. Sho, Jo, Kathy and the rest of the team are simply brilliant. They all go above and beyond to make you welcome, calm nerves and answer questions. I have had an amazing week. I have left a stone lighter and left behind a whole lot of negative feelings about myself whilst gaining self confidence and calmness for any challenges that come my way. I decided to come on a Karuna detox retreat because I was in a very bad place emotionally and it was starting to take its toll on my physical health too. I had no idea what to expect and was nervous about spending a week with a group of people that I had never met before.....I needn't have worried, this was one of the most life changing experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, Sho and the team were utterly fantastic, they were supportive, knowledgeable and passionate, I couldn't have asked for a more lovely group of people to help see me through the process. And what an inspirational bunch of fellow detoxes there were!! I will miss each and everyone of them. we were the perfect team!! At times the detox was tough, but we all had each other, which made the world of difference. I have made some friends for life this week. I've come away feeling recharged, refreshed and with a renewed sense of joy for life. I will definitely be back again sometime in the future. Laura xx
