Awful experience with an extremely rude member of staff. I paid for my items (a grand total of 2.49) and was chased after, instantly accused of stealing. My card payment had gone through (confirmed on online banking) but the obtuse woman manning the self checkouts would not hear any of it, mouthing off loudly to cause a scene. I have never had such a negative experience with the service industry and honestly am shocked that the staff feel empowered to treat customers this way. Your job is to provide service and assist customers not to provide a judge/jury/executioner vigilante service when clearly the number of brain cells at your disposal limit you to checking ID at self checkout. The most offensive part of this is that I easily earn at least double what this obnoxious piece of work does, and the audacity and confidence with which she accused me of stealing is mind blowing.
