Sadly, we had to use the services of vets now on bank holiday Monday. We went to the Witham branch in an emergency. Our beloved boxer dog was unfortunately very sick. By the time we arrived he was unwilling to come out of the car, he was so poorly. The lady who saw us ( we are really sorry we didn't get to note your name down) came into the car and examined him. She told us that unfortunately she thinks he is internally bleeding, his oxygen levels are low and our options were limited. We already had a feeling that this would be the case. We were treated with such care and compassion I cannot explain how thankful we are. Me my dad and my husband were visibly upset. We were reassured and spoken to with care and affection. The ladies that looked after us provided Max with a bed and handled his last moment with such love and care. I was able to say my goodbyes in peace and it was the best send off I could have wished for for our boy. We were explained everything in detail and were told what would happen in the following days. We miss him so much but we know he is no longer in pain. During the worst time of my life these 2 ladies were our angels. We will never thank you enough. I am hoping that we can have their names as they truly made a difference to us and our family. Max was with us for 9 years he was a part of our family. He saw me as a law student, to qualifying as a solicitor buying a house getting married having twin girls. He was with us through it all ups and downs, lockdowns and all. He was the glue to our family and I am thankful to you that we were able to provide him with the final sens off that he deserved. Thank you, words will never be enough.

After an Emergancy with our parrot the lovely Georgina was wonderful, she took amazing care of us and of our little boy Gary after a freak accident and I cant praise the staff enough for their care and compassion during a stressful evening. Thank you to everyone there who helped our baby boy.

I am very grateful for the sensitive, caring experience I had on 1st February with your Practice.. Leah was 17 years old, had outlived the maximum lifespan for her breed for over two years, I had been keeping her diabetes under control since last May and although I knew we were on borrowed time it was such a shock and very traumatic for me to see her so ill. The Vet who I spoke to initially, euthanized Leah in the early hours, he was very empathetic and understanding from the minute I arrived. The Nurse was just the same, I am very touched at the way it was handled. I had to tear myself away, didn't want to leave Leah even though she had died, as I left the Nurse remarked that Leah was very lucky to have me and that was such a kind remark to make. Please pass on my remarks with grateful thanks to the Vet and Nurse who were on duty that night, the care and understanding meant a lot to me.
