We had a very positive experience with Abels Moving Services after a friend recommended them to us. We were very impressed by the high level of service we received from start to finish. The crew were well organised, efficient and professional. It really did take the stress out of moving.

Went for an interview and was told I was still being considered. However after chasing up for progress was told I would be contacted. Still waiting and I know nothing is going to come of this job but would have liked a bit of professional courtesy and respect of at least a phone call to confirm that I was unsuccessful. Not just ignored.

I had the pleasure of dealing with them in July when relocating to Spain. This company is a total scam! They gave us a very expensive quote which we accepted only because we wanted the move to be done professionally and be as stress-free as possible. They collected all our belongings in London and only told us then that there was going to be an additional cost for delivery. A ridiculous amount of 240 on top of what we had already paid, as their lorry was not allowed into the city centre. They deliver with massive tracks, which are not allowed into any city centre and they do not state that anywhere on their website or when giving you the initial quote. In the T&Cs they talk about making sure the track can park close to your property, but what they dont tell you is that they already know that is NOT possible as their van is huge and not allowed into the city centre anyway. So you are only left with the option to pay for the shuttle van. We refused to pay for the shuttle van as they should have told us about this extra cost when providing us with the initial quote and they started to sound like a broken record then. Clearly, this was not the first time they tricked someone like that. We had to hire a minivan and go finish the job ourselves - the cost of hiring the van with a driver that helped us was 50, against the 240 they had asked for! They gave us an hour to arrange for the van and meet them to pick up our belongings and all of this while threatening us to ship all of our belongings back to the UK. To sum it up, they promote themselves as a professional international door to door removal company and that is false advertising. I have received a terrible customer service from beginning to end. Also, some boxes and suitcases arrived damaged. The experience with them was stressful and certainly not positive. Terrible, rude and totally unprofessional company! I really do not recommend their services.
