So we put an offer in with Bob on a house we really liked, we were ready to get the ball rolling on purchasing the house. We had a few minor hick ups but we had a buyer waiting and we were waiting to buy. After a week or so of thinking that we were buying the house we wanted we called Bob to touch base and see what was happening. In which he told us we couldnt have the house as hes sold to some one else 4 days prior to us calling. Didnt bother to let us know. Someone else had put a better offer in and thats fine. I understand how it works. But Bob decided not to let us know as clearly we were no longer of any value to his work and so we were swept under the rug. Bob is clearly part of the reason that there is a reputation around estate agents and how they are often portrayed as untrustworthy.
