Blake & Bull

I dont often take the time to write reviews - and when I do, its because I have been blown away - sometimes in a good way, sometimes not! I ordered an Aga enamel cleaning kit, it arrived today - in the sweetest box... not only did the package contain ALL the tools I needed, there was a handwritten thank you, a little pack of sweeties (I wont lie, that will always help), and detailed instructions. The instructions were not only well written but they were funny and a joy to read. Soooooo I got to work, dinner done, kids in bed, aga off (electric so its cooled pretty quickly), I set to work with my new magic tool (amazing little thing), then used the paste (AKA Pasta as it said on the tube)... and OH MY GOODNESS.... I have a new aga! Its amazing! I super love things that work like they claim to, but I also super love the personal touches that went into this whole experience. I hate cleaning - thank you for making this cleaning experience a joyful one! Highly recommend this company!

The service from Blake and Bull is great , prompt attentive However I bought a large Aga drying rail; I leant against it, my builder pulled him self up on it, a grandchild swung on it, and each time it sagged ever further towards oblivion. I know it was not designed for this, its a delicate piece off filigree meant more for the Venice Biennale, than a rumbustious house. But really; all the end plates had to be was a mil' or two thicker and it would be fine, it's just under engineered. Any way just bought my second one so must like the concept. May be Blake and Bull can either give this product some extra weetabix , or alternatively sell police cordon tape, saying 'do not cross frail drying rail at work'.

We had our Aga (produced sometime 1956-74 and, apart from routine servicing, probably untouched since) refurbished by Jason from Blake & Bull. The Aga now looks like new and after a complete replacement of insulation, heated up faster than it ever has after re-lighting. The whole process was professional and painless and oh so effective. Jason was a pleasure to have in the kitchen and the area was left spotless on completion. As always to date, its 5 stars from us for our dealings with Blake & Bull with special mentions for Matt (for the organisation and administration) and Jason for the on-site work. Thank you guys!

Very efficient pre-installation dialogue. And even more efficient and intelligent work on the day as the installers navigated an unexpected problem, and did so with patience, politeness and humour. And now it's installed, it's a delight to be able to turn the Aga off/on easily and not wince each time I come in and imagine the oil being drained from our tank....
