Gilberts Piano Transport

I foolishly got some general movers I knew, to try to lift my heavy upright digital piano upstairs. They'd quoted considerably less than Gilberts, who I also knew and have always used in the past. This time, with the cost of living issues, etc., a money saving was important to me. The generalists came and tried hard, but it was a stressful experience all round, and I ultimately had to have them abandon the job, and return the piano to my hall. (Incidentally, I still paid them). Gilberts came first thing this morning, bang on time, and did a painless, 110% competent, and therefore quick job. Yes, it cost much more, but it was a lot less than another specialists' we rang, however, I'm educated now. I've learned the hard way that I should always hire specialists. Of course pianos can be very valuable, "pride and joy" type items indeed. So don't make the mistake I made. Get Gilberts and avoid having a heart attack. It will be a perfect job. I KNOW, they've moved pianos of mine since the 1990s. Simple.

Wow! What can I say except that the whole process was an absolute pleasure from start to end. The quote was excellent, the time frame for the collection and delivery was brilliant the whole booking process was easy and painless. The actual removal and delivery of the piano was quick and professional (even with a very steep drive at collection) and the two gentlemen who moved the piano were polite and efficient. Would highly recommend Gilberts and if we need to move it again, we will definitely be using their services.
