Paul was a saving grace! After our original bar cancelled on us 5 days before our Wedding day, we rang Paul and he pulled out all the stops so last minute to ensure we had a bar on our Wedding day. He was so friendly & professional. Andy and Sheenagh were brilliant on the day! I can honestly say I wished we had known about Cestrian Bars from the beginning, I would highly recommend to anyone! I would be writing a novel if I were to list everything we were disappointed with and pretty much ruined our event. Not enough of certain alcohol, slow service, so many ignored requests that werent listened to (which cost us so much money) or passed on, plastic cups left lying everywhere (assumed perhaps behind the bar would have made an effort to clear some of this as they were very quick to clear peoples actual glasses from the reception and take peoples wine away they still were drinking), poor quality wine, I could go on. Was constantly told done 100s of weddings and havent got it wrong yet. Well it was one heck of an event to mess up for the first time then. Updated; I honestly defy any bride to not be furious and devastated at your lack of competency and rude attitude. I kept walking away?! I had a 7 month old son who needed tending to and hundreds of things to organise for an all weekend event with guests arriving that afternoon. Everything was clear in phone calls and messages and if needs be I can upload the WhatsApp messages to prove your incompetence of my request for a menu on the bar of the drinks we wanted to include under the free bar so you can defy me on that as much as you like. The ros wine tasted like cranberry juice, you ran out of red wine which we luckily had our own supply of ( I said people drank ros too not that NO ONE drank red wine), we spent over and above the 1500 required actually Including both package drinks and money taken after this (perhaps its slipping your mind the 1000 that dwindled so quickly due to the missing of information on no shots and the menu etc), and find it insulting the 250 deposit which should be refunded as stated at booking as well as an itemised bill in total separate from the 1354 there was another 1750 placed behind the bar for the night from both my father and I. To say there was a small number of guests at 75 people is laughable and most likely insulting to many people who either due to covid or personal reasons only have that number. You can tell as many people as you want your version of events (as you have explained you so clearly are) and I will happily tell mine.

Paul and the team provided an excellent service for our wedding in Mold, North Wales. They were extremely professional from the moment we made our booking and when the big day arrived they went out about their business with minimal fuss which we really appreciated. They provided all of the drinks you'd expect and more. We would definitely recommend!

Paul was a star from start to finish, we are so grateful we chose to work with Cestrian Bars for our wedding. Due to covid we had to postpone twice and our day finally took place 2 years later than originally planned on Saturday 28th May 2022. The communication between Paul and ourselves was quick and clear and put us at ease on every occasion we had to postpone or confirm the finer details. Which is exactly what we needed during such uncertain times! Cestrian Bars are hands down the best supplier we worked with for our wedding day and I cannot recommend them enough.
