Flossie's Weddings

An almost 5 star experience for us. Flossies provided our venue dressing, flowers and invites for our wedding in May and on the whole, provided an excellent service. On the day, the guys who set up and were there for change over did a beautiful job and made our vision for our wedding could true. Sadly however, periods of our journey with Flossies were overwhelmingly shadowed by poor communication. Months would often go by with no response to questions (emails sent in July were responded to in October) and often, I found my emails half read and having to repeat points made several times before we reached an outcome. When youre planning an event, especially giving lots of business to one company, this can be unnerving. While it was explained that more staff had been hired to support admin and to ensure emails/contact could be better maintained, we were often frustrated that our queries were going weeks without being answered but posts on Instagram were being maintained daily. Despite this, we would still recommend the overall service from Flossies. Hopefully communication continues to improve and if it does, this service will be second to none.

We met Steph at a wedding fayre back in 2019 and were instantly sold by her warmth and her work and enthusiasm for creating spectacular venues. After our initial meeting we were left really confident and pleased with how she presented her ideas whilst also being conscious of not going over budget (we found her to be reasonable cost wise compared to other companies we received quotes from). COVID-19 happened and she was great accommodating us throughout and after the dust settled we booked a completely new venue and had a total idea change - Steph was great and extremely helpful in making sure everything went smoothly. On the day, Steph and her team were super professional and efficient decorating the venue with ease and everything we had imagined they would be from our first meeting. She is extremely busy with weddings so sometimes responses to to emails can be slow but this didnt really matter to us and all in all we would definitely recommend her as her work makes up for this!
