Excellent guitar instruction from a highly experienced instructor. He tailors the lessons to the student's interests, ability and aspirations. He is always patient, kind and encouraging. Always available for advice, he even spent a day creating a very professional mp3 which he emailed to me to help me practice as I was travelling and could not get in to see him. My guitar needed a set up (adjusting) and he picked mine up from home and got it done for me as I was away again. You WILL make progress with Avondale.

My 11 year old has been taught by Mark since he was 9 and is now heading to High School having passed his Grade 3 with a Merit. Mark's patient and tailored approach to each student ensures that he gets the very best out of each individual. He goes at the right pace to ensure confidence is not knocked, but that things stay interesting and engaging. I could not recommend Mark highly enough, he has really helped my son to excel at something and more importantly really enjoy learning.
