When my father passed away at home, the mixed emotions of what had just happened and what to do next came flooding in all at once. I was expecting the whole process to be much more stressful than it actually was. I felt great comfort and ease with fowels from the very first acquaintance, I admired how dignified and very compassionate they were throughout. Fowels took the time and patience to have an understanding of exactly the person my father was The communication with fowels throughout was impeccable! The one thing that could not go unnoticed was the up most respect shown towards my father from beginning to end. A day in which I feared, became a beautiful goodbye in the best possible way and we as a family are forever grateful for their service

We have recently used Fowles after our wonderful mum passed away. Dave, Craig, Jay and the rest of the team were so thoughtful and understanding they made something that was so unbelievably hard so much easier. They supported and guided us each step of the way and treated our mum with so much dignity and respect. Thank you so much for taking care of of us as well as our wonderful mum x

Following the recent passing of Dad, we as a family decided to use the services of this local family business, Fowles Funeral Services. Losing a loved one is probably one of the hardest things you can experience. From the first phone call to start making all the necessary arrangements, to the aftercare once your loved one has been laid to rest. The attention to detail, going that extra mile to provide something so bespoke and personal to us all as a family, is truly an art in itself, which Fowles managed to deliver 100%. I can honestly say that on behalf of us all as a family, the whole process seemed to transpire effortlessly, due to sheer professionalism, communication, empathy, compassion and even sense of humour ( when appropriate ) at such a difficult time. A massive Thank You to you all who helped to put together such a memorable and fitting service, including everyone at Birches Crematorium and Kate the Celebrant ( both highly recommended too ). I cannot thank Dave and all the Fowles team for making what was a very emotional and stressful few weeks, prior to my fathers funeral, as easy and straightforward as possible. Dave went above and beyond trying to make everything run smoothly. The advice, communication and attention to detail was second to none. We have used Fowles for both of my parents funerals and each time found them to be compassionate, respectful and thoughtful in every way.
