This council are a disgrace. They should be ashamed and be shamed. I have a disabled daughter along with myself since early 2018, Since this time we couldnt understand why we couldnt make ends meet and debt was occuring. Little did we know about council tax deductions if any persons within the household was on enhanced rate of pip this deduction could be claimed! They failed to inform us even after income and expenditure forms were submitted with this information more than once. Because of this shortfall we went into severe hardship. This council refuse to pay us back the overpayment and have verbally said its our own fault we didnt know. Within 1 yr we had over 50 food vouchers and countless help from wharton church. Even after this myself and my wife starved ourselves to feed our children. The overpayment of around 120 per month would of been adequate to support my familys needs and nearly 3yrs of hardship was unavoidable and unnessasary. As it states on this councils website. We have a dedicated team to assist with your needs if you have social difficulties or disabilities. This could not be furthur than the truth. This coucil should be shamed for their inadiquate staff, who are mostly rude and unhelpfull. Kind of crook like! . If anyone else has sufferd unnessasarily please make it known. Im sure the way the council have treated us and acted should and will be exposed. People should know this council cannot be trusted or relied on. Believe me you are not going to worm your way out of this one. Democracy and fairness does not exist at cheshire west. This is what England is based on. SHAME ON YOU CWC

always pay our bills on time and they can't even empty our bins even when we have called several times to say its not been done - shockingly bad
