Staff great. Food good. Chairs really do need rubber ferrules on the feet to silence the flippin' scraping noises on the floor as people are moving the chairs to sit down and stand up. Just saying.

We had truly dreadful food here on Sunday 1st August. In the past the food has always been good, not this time. All meals were awful, we didn't complain but all agreed we'd never waste money here again. The staff also seem to have lost interest. Perhaps there has been a change in Management?

They get two stars because the staff are always friendly. Used to always be a good bet for a tasty, cheap meal with the kids. Took my little girl here today for the kids eat free promotion. Mine was OK but what they gave her was pathetic, still expensive even at free. Im not sure what the decision makers are going for with the cafe. They seem to fancy themselves as some sort of artisan, fancy feedery. In reality theyve just started charging twice as much for half the food, thats no better than what theyve always served and then put it on fancier plates. They should know their role and stick to what they used to be good at - being a supermarket cafe serving a decent portion of simple, tasty food at a reasonable price. Stop trying to be something youre not. Youre not a fancy bistro.
