The Berkshire Bakesmith

We asked Kerry to create our wedding cake back in 2020 ready for our wedding in May 2021 after she created the most amazing 30th birthday cake for my now husband. Kerry had a consultation with us to choose our flavours and design. This was great, as it gave us a chance to try the different flavours we liked and they were all amazing. Kerry guided us through the whole design process and we loved the draft design. Unfortunately we had to postpone our wedding to this year due to the restrictions, which Kerry was so lovely about, given that her business was so affected by the pandemic. Fast forward to our rescheduled wedding day this year and Kerry made the most amazing wedding cake. It was even better than the designs she had prepared. We chose red velvet for our top tier, salted caramel and chocolate for our middle tier and raspberry ripple for our bottom tier. The cake tasted absolutely fantastic, all the layers were quite different and each was all exceptional, so moist and flavourful. So many guests were asking where the cake had come from as they loved it so much. She was even so lovely as to provide the silver cake stand for the day, so we didn't have to worry about this either. If you're thinking of using Kerry as your cake maker for any event, I would say 1000% do it. Thank you Kerry for the most amazing creation!

The Berkshire Bakesmith made us the most beautiful wedding cake! Kerry was fantastic to work with - she responded quickly and knowledgably and made the whole process so simple. She spoke directly with the florist ahead of time about the flowers so we didn't need to worry about anything. Not only did the cake look absolutely amazing, it also tasted delicious and flew off the table in the evening! I would recommend the Berkshire Bakesmith to anyone looking for an event cake :)
