During the five lessons through the Old Testament which I taught to Key Stage 2 at Winmarleigh School, I found the children to be very polite, well behaved and appreciative. The school seems well equipped and to function efficiently, and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly.

I have just finished my 12 week placement as a student teacher at Winmarleigh CE Primary School in Class 2. I have never come across the most polite and well behaved children in a school before! They are so caring and friendly towards staff and all the other children in the school. They have a range of after school clubs on offer to enhance the childrens experience of school. This school has such a caring staff that work together to make sure that each child reaches their full potential. I really felt a part of the Winmarleigh family over my time here and enjoyed every minute of it. Every day is different at this school, with a variety of activities the children can get involved in as well as a vast range of educational trips to go on to expand their knowledge. This school is a little gem!

Winmarleigh CE Primary School is a warm and welcoming school where every individual is valued. The atmosphere as you enter school is quiet and calm with the feel of a caring, Christian ethos. The bright and photographic displays show how many unique learning opportunities pupils have here. The school prides itself on personalised learning for all pupils to reach their full potential. A highly recommended school!

What a fantastic school! We send our 2 children to winmarleigh school. We chose this school over others much closer to our home after meeting the more than helpful staff and going to their open day, they do induction days for children coming from nursey which our youngest thourghly enjoyed and defiantly benefited from. They have more 1 to 1 teaching with it being a smaller school which we really wanted in a school and they don't skimp on the extra curriculum activities! The children really do grow in leaps and bounds here. Afterschool clubs are run by external teachers that specialise in the chosen club (pro sport and zumba are a favourite!) and run until 5pm which helps working family's out, they run a breakfast club which although we dont personally use it, our kids beg us to take them in for it. Really worth the time checking this little gem out, you won't be disappointed!
