My car has been damaged by historic faults at car park. Car paintwork ruined. Sent them the bill and have not covered cost of repair. Unprofessional and uncaring ompany. Attention all residents and clients! If you are parking your vehicle in a car park managed by Neil Douglas Block Management Limited, beware of potential risks of toxic chemical leaks. Recently, multiple cars have been permanently damaged due to multiple leaks in a Watford car park that the management company is responsible for maintaining. This has caused significant harm and distress to the affected car owners, who have expensive costly repairs to their damaged vehicles. Neil Douglas is not paying up like a decent company would. They are cowboys.

We have now completed our first year with Neil Douglas as managing agents and can report that we now have confidence that we are in the hands of a very professional company. Katy Newsome, our designated property manager and main contact, has impressed us greatly. We now have regular safety and maintenance checks of the fire alarms, dry riser, smoke vent etc., which I don't think happened with our previous managers. Katy makes a monthly tour of the whole building to check for any problems and usually responds to any queries or requests within 24 hours. Emergencies have been dealt with very quickly (temporary repairs to the storm damage on the roof by the next day, overflowing drains within 2 hours). We are given monthly financial reports on all income and expenditure with explanation of any unexpected items. So we would like to end by formally thanking Neil Douglas, and Katy in particular, for impressive service and a successful year.

The management company has a responsibility to ensure that their services are fit for purpose and meet certain quality standards. If they fail to do so, the car owners may have a right to seek compensation for the damage caused to their vehicles. In conclusion, it is important for Neil Douglas Block Management Limited to take responsibility for the damages caused to the vehicles in the car park and to compensate the affected car owners for their losses.
