Visited the location yesterday, 4 Feb 2023. This place is closed, boarded up and available for rent. Their website makes it look like it's open for business, VERY misleading if not totally dishonest. DO NOT VISIT.

Nice place to go. Went on 2nd Jan but it was closed despite the open 7 days a week sign. This review is from previous visits. The food and drink are nice, perhaps slightly expensive. There's a good shop there with interesting things in it and a small grocery that's nice as well.

Could do with more customers and perhaps better decor, but the staff are friendly and the food very good.

Im not one for writing reviews but feel the need to. Ive visited here a few times and was always welcomed by the lovely coffee shop staff. My husband and I always had the bumper breakfast and bubble and squeak. We havent been since the summer due to illness but were so disheartened when we returned last week to find that everything has changed. Our lovely little coffee shop is no more and is being run, poorly, by the farm shop. Theres no hot food on the menu now and the cakes arent what we loved having there, theyre plain and dry, we didnt eat ours. There is so much seating but no customers and the staff dont seem to know what they are doing, maybe a bit of cleaning would be advisable. I reluctantly used the toilet and unfortunately they look like they hadnt seen a cleaner for months. The farm shop cant really be classed as a farm shop when theres barely any produce and no meat, it used to be huge and so much choice. I am honestly so disappointed as we loved coming here regularly, we thought we had stumbled on a little gem. The only saving grace were the little shops there that were selling lots of lovely items. So if youre looking for a farm shop and tea room I wouldnt go here but if you want to buy some gifts then you just might find what you are looking for.
