Fighting Cocks Inn

I'd recently had a Sunday roast with my Wife here so I had no qualms about booking a table for a family get together (7 adults and 1 child). A truly great experience. Upon arrival we were made to feel so welcome by the friendly staff. There's a great choice of beers and wines in this lovely timbered village pub. We went straight into the Sunday roast (choice of beef or chicken on this particular Sunday and we opted for both) which was piping hot and cooked to perfection. A nice selection of desserts as well which I'd recommend the sticky toffee pudding. Service was professional, everything is clean and neat and the pub exudes an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness. Very good value for money as well. Winfarthing fighting cocks I cannot praise you enough. Thankyou, we will be back. Date of visit: 30/04/2023.

Improved from years ago. Would liked to have stopped for their Sunday lunch. But hadn't booked..our fault.

We had two delicious meals while staying at the campsite behind the pub, which is very cosy and very friendly, lovely staff, so helpful and go above and beyond to help. The campsite is a lovely large field with plenty of space, we are looking forward to our next visit!
