First time needing to book an appointment at the surgery. I completed an online form and then was requested to call to book an appointment. Jackie the receptionist was very helpful and book me into Dedworth for the same day. The doctor I saw was excellent. A good experience with prompt resolve. Thank you.

Where to start with this one; - surgery staff do not seem to communicate with the medical doctors or nurses and make requests that do not align with the medical doctor. When questioned on requests they insist this is required and when doctor says differently - surgery staff refuse to book appointments for medical issues but require you to call on the day you want an appointment for the line to be busy for a full hour and no appointments available when they finally answer - was informed that no appointments can be booked at the counter and ONLY by phone - surgery staff do not use common sense or logic and do no care about whatever medical issue you are experiencing, you have to tick all their boxes before THEY will allow you to be seen by a doctor - surgery staff will ask you to make appointments for things like blood pressure readings that can be done at the chemist but will not book an appointment for potentially life threatening illnesses. Poorly run, no due care for patients, lack of empathy and will send you on a wild goose chase for basic healthcare needs. I stress that this is the staff and not the doctors as the staff seem to be completely unaligned with the doctors or nurses Ive seen but yet they are holding the power to say yes they will book the appointment or no. Its truly unbelievable and recklessly endangering their patients well being.
