        Great location in the centre of Windermere, yet quiet too, with a lovely courtyard. Super cafes and restaurants close by or all the facilities and utensils to cook in and have a relaxing comfortable evening. Very comfortable property - was like home from home - soon settled in. Shower curtain was missing when we arrived but this was very quickly put right. We had a great time and just loved Granary Nook. Theres lots to do right on the doorstep and a little walk up Orrest Head is not to be missed. Noteworthy details: A car parking pass was provided which was very useful and there was always a space available.

        First time we have booked a cottage for a short break and thanks to a great experience here it won't be out last. Plenty of space for 4 of us (two adults and two grown children) with everything you'd need in terms of bedding, utensils etc. Secure courtyard great for the dog. Location superb for shops, bars and restaurants in Windermere with a short bus ride down to Bowness (bus stop 2 minutes walk).
