OB Sailing

Had several days with OB over the last year, both training with Steve and days out with family/friends (and an overnight stay). Training was great, perfectly tailored to suit your requirements (Steve makes very pleasant company, and is hugely knowledgeable about the lake). Boats are impeccable; well-maintained, clean and comfortable. A great service in a stunning setting.

I chartered Dione for 3 days to introduce two of our grandchildren to big boat sailing. Accompanied by our son and his wife we really enjoyed ourselves. The yacht was well equipped in every respect and organised for a hassle free holiday. We had been forced to abandon a previous booking last year due to severe flooding, but Neil was most helpful arranging a new booking.

I recently finished my L1 and L2 with Steve on board Dione. It was a brilliant experience. Steve was so patient and kind with his instructor and clearly has an incredible wealth of knowledge. It felt a privilege to be learning under someone so passionate about the sport as well. After the first day, while it was really enjoyable, I was a bit overwhelmed at the amount of information I was going to need to learn. But by the end of the fourth day I felt confident and comfortable at the helm. A true testament to the instruction- not my skill! Looking forward to chartering Dione at the end of July! Thanks very much for such a thorough and in depth learning experience!

My wife and I have just completed the L1 and L2 courses together over 4 consecutive days, staying on board the yacht Helene. Tuition from both Neil and Steve was excellent. We really learned a lot and had a really fantastic time. Both Neil and Steve were excellent company and as well as learning the basics we had a great laugh throughout. Highly recommended.
