        Loads of great bars, pubs & restaurants in Bowness that were all rammed, this one was dead (Friday evening). Now I know why. It's a Wetherspoons with a different carpet, more expensive food and drink, with the added bonus of the same type of Spoons clientel. Staff couldn't give a toss, clearly show they don't want to be there (I don't blame them). Gave the place 2 stars as one of the bar staff (lady with blond hair) was lovely. Wouldn't bother with this one. Plenty of others to choose from.
