Used progression Solictors Lancaster to remortgage a buy to let property. They took that long that my remortgage offer expired, only opened the file 3 weeks prior to it expiring after I had persistently phoned daily. Only then did she realise it was a leasehold which didnt give enough time to request funds etc. I probably lost about a grand in total and a lot of wasted time. Why take more clients on if youre so busy?!?! Went to collect my documents from the windermere office, didnt seem the slightest bit interested in my complaint. On my way home I realised they had also given me two other clients legal documents, I kindly returned. Just sums the company up really. Save yourself the stress and avoid this company at all costs!

We decided to use Progression in August 2020. Eighteen months later we're still chasing documents relating to our move. Calls go unreturned, emails are unanswered. We"ve tried every single means of contact. We have spoken to several members of staff all of who have promised to follow up - what is a straightforward & simple request for one vital document. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service and indifference is nothing less than appalling. A typical example of good service would simply be - to keep us informed of the why's and wherefore's for the delay.Who? Why? How? Explain? Follow up! Maybe - even apologise. We have also been informed that the solicitor who dealt with our house move 'is no longer with the company' - like that in anyway should make us feel better or more satisfied. We have been patient and politely insistent and have got absolutely no where. We have paid our monies in good faith and received at best a disjointed poor quality service that failed to meet the very minimum of our expectations. I would not recommend this company.

Upfront costs and straight forward language. I used Progression for conveyancing and they were truly excellent, they kept me informed and answered the phone when I rang (which seems to be a rarity for Solicitors these days) Would recommend them in a heartbeat.
