        This pub has been changed from when I last visited . The Pool table has been removed. The decor changed. My other half liked it. Its nice but to me this pub has lost its welcome & feel. The price of the drinks were very expensive, a pint of larger( not premium) and a double G&T over 15. I left half my pint as I wasn't feeling it in there. I won't be going back Nearby activities: Bowness is a great place. Plenty of pubs & bars to choose from. Great base to explore The Lakes. All day ticket on Windermere, explore Ambleside, & the rest of the Lake with hop on hop off ticket on any . Any boat. Visit the steam railway.
