Lovely little cottage close to the heart of Bowness, check in was easy and there the place was very clean with everything we could want. We travelled with our 5 month old daughter and there was plenty space for her cot and toys in the living room. Bed comfy, shower good, and kitchen well equipped, we cooked our first night here with no issues, close to the heart of everything with restaurants and pubs just down the hill, That is one small point, if you have mobility issues then there is a very steep hill between the house and the main street, just something to keep in mind. We still have a couple of days here but overall the accommodation has been grand.

Ideally placed just out of Bowness town centre, on a quiet residential road (albeit a steep one), this accommodation offers everything you'd need for a home from home. More spacious than an average hotel room, there's a functioning kitchen with microwave and kettle, coffee machine and oven, a dining area with sofa bed and TV, dvd player and even a fire stick (unless someone forgot to take it home!). The bed is massive and comfortable, plenty of hanging space for clothes and gear wet from the rain you may have got caught up in, and the bathroom is spacious enough with a very modern shower. Brant Fell viewpoint is a half hour walk, with stunning 360 views, yet you can be back in one of the many cosy boozers or restaurants 2 minutes after leaving your doorstep. Modern, quality and value for money.
