        DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! The host is extremely rude and violent. He verbally abused and intimidated me and my partner over parking!!!! He trapped my car in and wasn't letting us move it. We had to call the POLICE and get them involved!! It was extremely scary and upsetting. I don't want anyone to experience what we did. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! He is a criminal.

        We had a wonderful stay in the white lodge, Jenny and her family were most welcoming. Our room was lovely and cosy, and the breakfast hampers were amazing! The lodge was perfectly situated as you could walk within minutes to Bowness, and there was a good amount of parking, so no worrying about paying to park somewhere. We will most definitely be staying here again

        Room was fine and breakfast served in a basket to the room was cute. The owners were not friendly or hospitable and this ruined my brief stay. Got to my room but the key was missing so could lock myself in but couldn't go out and lock my room. There was a dirty mark or old stain on the bedding, not great. But as it was late and I'd already had a less than warm welcome I flipped the duvet over and didn't tell the owners. The exterior of the building could do with some TLC and the view from my room was onto the groundwork of a building project.
