Really lovely cafe, menu is reasonably priced and the decor is airy but cosy. Owners seem to be knowledge about the different coffee they have available, and are super friendly. More than happy to allow dogs in which is always a bonus

Friendliest coffee shop in the Lakes. The owners are wonderful - talked me through the different bean options, without too much detail so i wasnt blinded with science. Coffee was delicious. The food was great, I had sticky fruit cake, my partner had carrot cake. The space is beautiful, really light and airy, with big high ceilings. Just a really wonderful place!

We visited the rookery last Sat and met Bryn whoscwas very friendly and welcoming we had delicious quiche and the best jacket potato I have ever tasted and coleslaw all homemade Btyn is very knowledgeable and told us about is amazing range of coffee's it is a very interesting relaxed place to chill out they do a range of open mic evenings and quiz nights we can't wait too visit again would highly recommend you going
